    Oh how I've missed blogging! Due to a previous crisis, I was not allowed to use my computer for a number of weeks. I didn't realize I was so addicted to blogging until I had to stop! But it feels good to be back :).
    The girl? Oh that's Shelby. She's got spunk and pep and she keeps things interesting. She's just a bubbly and happy girl. If you haven't noticed yet, I'm not the biggest "smiling" fan. I like to capture the raw emotion in my film. And sure, if my subject is happy, let them be happy. But I just don't like the idea of forcing the smile and getting a shot that is just too fake. Shelby was really fun to work with because she's got a lot of personality and I saw a whole lot of that in my film.

Okay. So I did these photos a while ago, but while I was editing them, I accidentally overwrote all the pictures. I had a meltdown or two. I took my computer everywhere and no one could find my pictures. So I got myself some recovery software and thank the heavens, I got all my pictures back. It was a lesson I will never forget. ALWAYS back up your photos. Oh, and that's why there has been a shortage of posts in January. Anyway I'll be updating as soon as possible to make up for all the missing posts.
