Thought I'd try something dramatic. Normally my style is a little softer than this. But I really liked how these turned out. Anyway, this is another one of my go-to models, Katherine. She's so photogenic it kills me! She kept me inspired the whole time pose after pose. ANTM style. :)

I've been thinking a lot about how photography can lie sometimes, and give people the sense that they aren't good enough. False advertising. Truthfully, I love when there is wonder in a photo. But today I decided to keep it plain and simple, and imperfect. Sorry I was the only model available. Self portraits are difficult for me. It's real, maybe not pretty, but real, and simple. Except for the last one, I got a little too crazy and just liked it too much to not put it up. It was my last frame, so sue me. I gotta be honest though, I'm just about as photogenic as Gollum.

My gorgeous cousin Carissa. It got dark faster than I expected so we finished the shoot indoors. I love natural light, but it was good to try some thing new. :) Let me tell you though, she is a work of art. I had so much fun with her! Thanks Carissa for being such a wonderful model. :)
